Mums In A Bowl

These were among the flowers given to my wife by my son and his family on Mother's Day. I'm not sure what the orange ones are but they reminded me of fish spawn. They were quite lovely in their transient orange and orange yellow coloring.

I'm in transition again. I don't know what happens but I get into a mode, make a few paintings over a week or two and then become thoroughly disgusted with what I am doing and look for a new means of expression. Last night's work was a waste of time other than the fact it further seperated me from last week's work. I can't explain it; I guess I just have not found my means of expression. Oh well, back to the drawing (painting) board.
